Vegas' Up Close and Personal Zoo
We are a boutique-style zoo providing animal encounters that get you up-close and personal with our camels and exotic animals. This hidden gem opened in 2016 and is a home to a number of unique and rare animal species. By reservation only, guests can take a safari tour that include rides on a safari tram onto the property to view rare and exotic animals, get hands-on with ambassador animals and learn from fascinating educational programs. These Safari’s are three-hour guided interpreted tours. Exact times are subject to change throughout the year, check out our safari tour calendar for more info. Gift cards can also be purchased.
Whats New?
The Las Vegas Zoo would like to expand on its mission of striving to inspire
people to gain a connection with wildlife to include the participation,
with other zoological facilities, in saving endangered species. This
will include partnering with a nonprofit organization, called Desert
Species Preservation Center, with a specific focus on desert species and
their conservation. We are excited to announce plans for a
cheetah enclosure and participation in ZAA’s cheetah AMP estimated
Spring 2023!
