A Keeper-Guided Desert Animal Learning Experience
A school or homeschool visit can use camels and other animals to explore adaptations, behavior, husbandry, positive-reinforcement training, and desert stewardship. Content, supervision, group size, and interaction expectations are planned in advance.
These experiences take place at Camel Safari in Bunkerville near Mesquite, not on the Las Vegas Strip. Advance reservations are required.

A field trip for Las Vegas and Mesquite-area learners
School groups can connect classroom topics in life science, animal behavior, adaptation, agriculture, and desert ecology with guided observations of camels and other animals. Keepers can shape the discussion around the students’ ages and the learning goals the group shares before the visit.
Before any bus or van leaves school, the group leader and Camel Safari should confirm the reservation, vehicle type, final arrival route, parking and turnaround needs, chaperone expectations, accessibility requirements, and scheduled start time. This advance planning keeps arrival orderly on the reservation-only desert property.
